The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst position at our organization is an intermediate level role where you will be responsible for participating in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. Your main objective will be to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop the Client Connectivity platform to establish best-in-class client connectivity solutions globally. - Ability to design and develop responsive low latency GUIs using ReactJS, HTML5, and JavaScript. - Develop low latency solutions on the Java stack and HFT Framework. - Ensure business requirements are well-understood at all delivery levels using technical skills. - Implement coding, testing, debugging, and implementation standards. - Build relationships with internal and external teams for end-to-end delivery of prioritized connectivity streams. - Communicate effectively with business, development, QA, infrastructure, and production support teams. - Assist in troubleshooting and issue resolution across development, support, and technical business users. - Establish strong working relationships across different technology areas such as QA and support. - Provide ongoing support post-implementation and work on new enhancements and additional phases. - Collaborate with a global development team to leverage global tools and technologies. Qualifications: - 8+ years of relevant experience in Low latency Java Stack. - Hands-on front-end development using ReactJS, JS, HTML5. - Knowledge and experience in building ultra-low latency platforms will be advantageous. - Working experience of Microservices architecture is a plus. - Good exposure to Client connectivity application development. - Good understanding of electronic trading and financial markets. - Experience with FIX/Binary protocols. - Exposure to Open HFT & Chronicle is a plus. - Experience of working in a trading environment. - Good analytical skills. - Familiarity with DevOps tools, CI/CD, and BitBucket.
