As a Digital Software Engineer Analyst at Citigroup, you will be responsible for applying your specialty area knowledge in monitoring, assessing, analyzing, and evaluating processes and data. Your role will involve identifying policy gaps, formulating policies, interpreting data, making recommendations, and researching factual information. You will also be expected to identify inconsistencies in data, define business issues, and formulate recommendations on policies, procedures, or practices. Additionally, you will integrate established disciplinary knowledge within your specialty area with a basic understanding of related industry practices. Key Responsibilities: - Identify problems, questions, or situations using established criteria to directly influence development outcomes. - Support collaboration with software engineers and technical teams to analyze user requirements, specifications, and business needs for digital software projects. - Assist in the development, design, construction, testing, and implementation of secure, stable, testable, and maintainable code. - Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging activities to ensure the quality performance and reliability of digital software applications. - Understand the business context and associated customer use cases. - Evaluate system designs and architecture while participating in solution discussions, development, and the creation of application/systems documentation. - Provide inputs for building project development schedules. - Provide inputs for feature prioritization, highlight technical dependencies between deliverables, and help the scrum team reach consensus with the product owner. - Successfully complete assessment tests or certifications to demonstrate technical expertise on your development platform(s). - Appropriately assess risk when making business decisions and drive compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations. Qualifications: - 1-3 years in an Apps Development role with demonstrated execution capabilities. - Proficiency in Java or Python Development or AI/ML Skillsets. - Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a data-driven and results-oriented approach. - Experience in running high traffic, distributed, cloud-based services. - Experience in affecting large culture change. - Experience leading infrastructure programs. - Skilled at working with third-party service providers. - Excellent written and oral communication skills.
