Java Microservice Developer

II. Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Java Spring Boot Sr. Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-performance, scalable applications using Java, Microservices, and Spring Boot. You will play a key role in the entire software development lifecycle, from understanding customer requirements to supporting testing phases and ensuring code quality. Your expertise will contribute to delivering cutting-edge solutions that meet the evolving needs of our BFSI clients.

III. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand customer requirements and translate them into technical designs and architectures.
• Develop detailed technical designs and estimate development efforts, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
• Design, develop, and implement web-based applications using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs, adhering to coding standards and best practices.
• Conduct thorough peer-code reviews to identify defects early and maintain high code quality, ensuring robust and reliable software.
• Write comprehensive unit test cases to ensure thorough unit testing of the code, contributing to overall software quality.
• Provide support during testing phases (System Testing, SIT, UAT, Non-Regression Testing) to ensure quick turnaround of defect fixes and smooth project delivery.

IV. Qualifications & Skills:

• Mandatory:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE web-based application development.
• Strong knowledge of Core Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST API.
• Experience with Agile or Waterfall development methodologies.
• Good-to-have:
• Experience with design patterns.
• Desire to learn and implement the latest technologies.
• Experience with Banking/Financial services domain.
