Java Backend Developer (Only Looking for Immediate Joiner OR Currently serving Notice period) Location: Chennai/Hyderabad Company: Prodapt (Full Time) Job Summary: Prodapt is seeking a skilled Java Backend Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Java development, experience in backend frameworks, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, scalable solutions. This role involves working on various software development projects within a dynamic team environment. Key Responsibilities: Develop, test, and maintain backend components using Java and associated frameworks. Design and implement RESTful APIs and web services for high-volume applications. Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other team members to design, build, and optimize new features. Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of applications by optimizing code and database queries. Debug and resolve production issues, maintaining a focus on code quality and best practices. Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and team meetings to promote a collaborative development environment. Work within Agile/Scrum methodologies to deliver solutions iteratively. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in backend development with Java. Strong understanding of Java frameworks (such as Spring Boot, Hibernate). Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and server-side development. Familiarity with database technologies, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB. Proficient in version control systems, such as Git. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes. Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus. Experience with telecom domain is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in telecommunications or similar industries. Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools. Familiarity with other backend languages (such as Python or Node.js) is advantageous. Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
