Java Lead

As a Java Lead with expertise in AWS or Azure, you will play a key role in leading a high-performance team in software development. With a minimum of 9+ years of software development experience and at least 2 years in a leadership position, you will be responsible for guiding the team and making hands-on contributions. Your responsibilities will include: - Working closely with Managers (Technical and Product) to define and plan projects and activities - Developing and implementing an architecture strategy - Facilitating team collaboration towards software engineering best practices and customer-centric solutions - Ensuring the production and maintenance of high-quality code through code review and defect prevention activities - Collaborating closely in small teams to create well-integrated products in short design cycles with proper documentation and reusable artifacts - Utilizing Agile/ Scrum/Kanban methodologies for project management - Demonstrating a strong understanding of Core JAVA and Design Principles - Exhibiting expertise in J2EE with Spring, JPA, and Hibernate - Demonstrating proficiency in Spring Boot with RESTful Web services and Microservices - Having working experience with RDBMS/MySQL databases - Proficiently documenting processes and code using standard tools like POSTMAN, Swagger, etc. - Being proficient with Azure services - Having a basic understanding of Caching (Redis) and Search/Index Platform (Elastic Search) At GlobalLogic, we prioritize a culture of caring, where inclusivity and belonging are paramount.
