The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst position is an intermediate level role that involves participating in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. Your main objective in this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities. Your key responsibilities will include designing and developing the Client Connectivity platform to establish best-in-class client connectivity solutions globally. You should have the ability to design and develop responsive low latency GUIs using ReactJS, HTML5, and JavaScript. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing low latency solutions on the Java stack and High-Frequency Trading (HFT) Framework. It is important to use your technical skills to ensure that business requirements are understood at all levels of delivery and to establish coding, testing, debugging, and implementation standards. Building relationships with internal and external teams and delivering prioritized connectivity streams of work will be part of your role, along with effective communication with various teams such as business, development, QA, infrastructure, and production support. Troubleshooting and issue resolution across different user groups, establishing strong working relationships, providing ongoing support after implementation, and working on new enhancements are also key responsibilities. You will collaborate as part of a global development team to leverage global tools and technologies effectively. Qualifications for this role include a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in Low latency Java Stack, hands-on front-end development experience using ReactJS, JS, and HTML5, knowledge and experience in building ultra-low latency platforms, working experience of Microservices architecture, exposure to client connectivity application development, good understanding of electronic trading and financial markets, experience with FIX/Binary protocols, exposure to Open HFT & Chronicle, experience working in a trading environment, good analytical skills, familiarity with DevOps tools, CI/CD, and BitBucket.
