Java Full Stack Developer

As a Java Full Stack Developer at Orion Innovation, you will play a crucial role in building scalable web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and front-end technologies like React. You will collaborate with teams to optimize performance and deliver robust solutions that meet business needs. Your passion for clean code, agile practices, and continuous learning will drive you to excel in this role. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop a deep understanding of appropriate data & software components including conceptual data models, data flows, entity relationships, specifications, audit controls, and security. - Maintain high-quality software development standards to contribute to code quality. - Validate technical approaches and prototype new concepts to support technical design decisions. - Support team members for successful sprint outcomes by identifying and raising technical, security, delivery, and performance risks. - Promote the DevOps culture and implement continuous improvements to the development practice. - Provide high-level design and technical solutions for new change requests and projects by understanding the existing processing architecture. - Coordinate with the offshore team for all deliverables, including peer review, documentation, and installation. **Key Skills/ Job Specifications:** - 4+ years of strong experience in Java, Full Stack Java, React, Microservices, APIs, CI/CD (Git, HELM, Jenkins, Ansible), Kubernetes (preferably on Azure). - Built scalable, resilient, and secure applications with a strong client-facing skill set. - Good understanding of software development patterns, object-oriented design principles, and coding techniques. - Experience working with cloud technology Azure, OpenShift, AWS, Docker, etc. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical discipline or equivalent work experience. - 3 - 5 years of experience designing, developing, and implementing software applications at large institutions. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Experience in Agile Software Development methodologies including Scrum. - Snowflake development experience with a can-do attitude and delivery focus. - Practical experience with the end-to-end DevOps CI/CD pipeline, including Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Maven, Gitlab, SonarQube. - Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and/or Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
