Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Microservices Development:
Design, develop, and deploy high-performance, scalable, and secure microservices using Java and the Spring Boot framework.
API Development:
Create and maintain RESTful APIs for efficient communication between microservices and other systems.
Cloud Deployment & Management:
Deploy, manage, and monitor cloud-native applications and microservices on AWS, leveraging services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, and others.
Database Interaction:
Design and implement database schemas, write efficient queries, and interact with relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB).
CI/CD & DevOps:
Implement and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Maven/Gradle, and Git for automated testing and deployment.
Code Quality & Testing:
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, including unit, integration, and potentially end-to-end tests using frameworks like JUnit and Mockito.
Collaboration & Agile Practices:
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product owners, architects, and other developers, within an Agile development methodology.
Troubleshooting & Optimization:
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, debug issues in distributed systems, and optimize application performance and scalability.
Mentorship (for senior roles):
Guide and mentor junior developers on best practices, coding standards, and technical solutions.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience in Java development with a strong focus on Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services for deploying and managing applications.
Proficiency in designing and interacting with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL).
Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles, design patterns, and data structures.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
