Job Description:Wits Innovation Lab is looking for an experienced Java Developer with strong expertise in Spring Boot and backend systems. The ideal candidate should be passionate about clean code, scalable architecture, and solving real-world challenges.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable Java-based applicationsWork extensively with Spring Boot and related frameworksCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new featuresEnsure code quality through unit testing and best practicesDebug and resolve technical issues efficientlyParticipate in code reviews, team discussions, and client interactionsRequired Skills:4+ years of hands-on experience with Java and Spring BootStrong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architectureExperience with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar)Proficiency with tools like Git, Maven/Gradle, and JenkinsExposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologiesExperience in the Banking Domain is a big plusExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsMust be open to travel as per project/client requirements
