Job Description

EXP 4+yrs Reference JD Application Support Engineer with hands-on experience in Java and React to maintain and support an existing call center application hosted on AWS. While the application is currently in a support mode with limited active development, the role is critical in ensuring the applications stability, performance, and issue resolution. This is not a typical development-heavy role; instead, it focuses on application support, monitoring, troubleshooting, and minor enhancements. The ideal candidate should be proactive, analytical, and comfortable collaborating with backend and DevOps teams. Key Responsibilities: Monitor application health and performance using DataDog and related tools. Handle and resolve application incidents, issues, and minor fixes in a timely manner. Manage and address application vulnerabilities in coordination with the security team. Ensure the application is always up and running with minimal downtime. Work closely with AWS Cloud, DevOps, and Database teams to ensure overall system health. Integrate new APIs as needed from the API Gateway. Perform code analysis and debugging when needed (primarily in Java and React). Required Skills: Hands-on experience with Java and React (even if not used daily). Familiarity with AWS services (basic understanding or ability to coordinate with AWS team). Exposure to monitoring tools like DataDog or similar. Good problem-solving skills and the ability to trace and diagnose issues across the stack. Ability to work independently, take ownership, and coordinate with cross-functional teams. Understanding of basic DevOps concepts and experience working alongside DevOps teams. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in application support or maintenance mode environments. Familiarity with application security and vulnerability management. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
