Job Description

Role : Java Developer

Experience : 1+ Yr

Location : Kochi

Roles and Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and MySQL.

Work on both monolithic and microservices architectures depending on project needs.
Build RESTful APIs and integrate them with frontend and third-party systems.
Write clean, testable, and well-documented code.
Collaborate with team members and participate in code reviews and agile ceremonies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

2+ years of experience in software development.
Proficient in Java, Spring Boot, MySQL, RESTful APIs, Git, Maven, and CI/CD tools.
Familiarity with both microservices and monolithic architecture.
Experience in writing unit tests using JUnit and ensuring test coverage
Hands-on experience with code quality management tools and practices
Strong understanding of software development best practices and clean code principles

Good to Have Skills (Secondary Skills)

Basic understanding of Docker or Kubernetes.
Experience with any cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
Java certification is a bonus but not mandatory.
Preferred experience in the shipping, or maritime domain, particularly in areas like cargo tracking, voyage planning, or port operations.
