Java Developer

As a Java Developer at Volta, you will be a key member of our fast-growing engineering team, contributing to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of backend services using Java 17/21. Your role will involve building robust Microservices using Spring Boot and RESTful APIs, implementing secure authentication mechanisms, and leveraging Redis for in-memory data processing and caching. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features, optimize system performance, ensure reliability, and uphold coding best practices. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting unit tests, debugging issues, and participating in peer code reviews to ensure the overall quality of the software. The ideal candidate for this role should possess strong programming expertise in Core Java (Java 17/21), proficiency in Spring Boot, Spring Web, and Spring Security, and a solid understanding of Microservices architecture and RESTful API design. Experience with Redis and caching strategies, as well as hands-on experience with OAuth2/JWT-based authentication, is essential for this position. Familiarity with Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud services like AWS, GCP, or Azure, and databases like MongoDB would be considered advantageous. To be eligible for this role, you should have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Java backend development and be currently residing in Hyderabad.
