Java Developer

About the Role:

• We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with strong expertise in building scalable, high-quality backend systems and microservices
• In this role, you will work on critical product features, contribute to architectural decisions, and ensure reliable, secure, and performant software delivery
• You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical leadership where needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Write high-quality, scalable, maintainable, and extensible code for backend services
• Develop REST-based microservices and ensure seamless integration with existing systems
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements and drive engineering best practices
• Work independently or within teams to design, plan, and deliver complex software features
• Propose technical solutions aligned with product needs and business goals
• Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best coding practices
• Ensure software meets quality, performance, and security standards
• Promote a culture of technical excellence, integrity, and team collaboration

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in production-grade software development
• Strong expertise in Java, SQL, NoSQL, and backend microservice development
• Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, Kinesis, RabbitMQ, or SQS
• Knowledge of caching, infrastructure as code, and distributed system principles
• Exposure to cloud environments such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
• Proficiency in JavaScript with modern MVC frameworks (advantageous)
• Strong understanding of complex workflows and ability to build innovative, reliable solutions
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and scalable architectural patterns
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and technical design skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience in healthcare technologies, workflows, and standards (HL7, FHIR)
• Knowledge of data analytics or machine learning-related development
