Java Microservices Developer

Location:

Role and Responsibilities

As a

• Design, develop, and deploy robust microservices using Java and

  Spring Boot.

• Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code following software development best practices.

• Work with cloud platforms like

  AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud to build cloud-native applications.

• Implement and manage containerized applications using

  Docker

  and

  Kubernetes.

• Develop and maintain

  RESTful APIs

  for seamless communication between services.

• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to deployment and maintenance.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

• Collaborate with other developers, architects, and product managers in an Agile or Scrum framework.

• Conduct code reviews, write unit and integration tests, and ensure code quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Java Developer with a strong focus on

  microservices architecture.

• Extensive hands-on experience with the

  Spring framework, particularly

  Spring Boot

  and

  Spring Cloud.

• Proficiency in designing and consuming

  RESTful APIs.

• Experience with containerization technologies like

  Docker

  and container orchestration with

  Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).

• Solid understanding of database systems, both SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).

• Experience with version control systems, preferably

  Git.

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.

Good to Have

• Knowledge of event-driven architecture and messaging systems like

  Apache Kafka

  or RabbitMQ.

• Experience with cloud services from platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana).

• Experience with caching technologies like Redis or Memcached.
