JD:

• Key Responsibilities: Design and develop robust, scalable, and efficient backend solutions using Java and related technologies. Collaborate with front-end developers, QA teams, and business analysts to deliver high-quality software. Participate in system design, architecture discussions, and performance tuning. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code to ensure smooth functioning of applications in production. Implement secure coding practices in compliance with Morgan Stanley's security guidelines. Contribute to code reviews and mentor junior developers in the team. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute towards continuous improvement initiatives. Required Skills: 5–7 years of strong experience in Core Java, Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC). Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, Microservices Architecture, and API Gateway. Proficiency in working with SQL databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MS SQL Server. Solid understanding of multithreading, concurrency, and performance tuning. Familiarity with message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ. Experience in unit testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito. Good exposure to version control systems (e.g., Git), and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or TeamCity. Good to Have: Knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra). Exposure to Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) or Docker/Kubernetes. Experience in the financial domain or understanding of investment banking workflows. Familiarity with DevOps practices and monitoring tools like Splunk, Prometheus, or Grafana. Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work effectively in a global and distributed team environment.
