Senior Java Backend Developer

• Develop

  high-performance, reusable, and reliable APIs

  to enable seamless interaction between different systems.


• Work closely with

  frontend developers, architects, and clients

  to define and implement backend integrations.


• Optimize and test APIs to ensure scalability and reliability.


• Hands-on experience in

  Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Java-based microservices

  .

  Cloud & DevOps:

  
  


• Deploy and manage applications in

  Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF)

  .


• Work with

  CI/CD pipelines

  to ensure smooth deployment and integration processes.


• Monitor and maintain applications using

  New Relic and other APM tools

  .


• Implement

  alerting mechanisms

  to ensure application stability and uptime.

  Production Support & Performance Optimization:

  
  


• Work on

  production support activities

  for microservices-based applications.


• Debug and resolve performance bottlenecks and system issues.


• Implement best practices for

  logging, monitoring, and alerting

• Lead and mentor development teams, ensuring adherence to best coding practices.


• Experience in

  onshore and offshore development models

• Collaborate with stakeholders in

  Agile and Waterfall

  environments.

  Required Skills:

  
  



• 5+ years

  of hands-on experience in

  Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, and Microservices development

  .


• Strong expertise in

  API development, RESTful web services, and backend system integrations

  .


• Hands-on experience with

  Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) and cloud-based deployments

  .


• Experience with

  Continuous Integration & Deployment (CI/CD) processes

  .


• Production support experience, including

  New Relic alerting and monitoring

  .


• Strong knowledge of

  SQL, NoSQL databases, and performance tuning

  .


• Excellent

  communication, presentation, and leadership skills

  .

• Experience in

  containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)

  .


• Exposure to

  AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

  .


• Familiarity with
