Java Backend Engineer

As a Java Backend Engineer with a minimum of 4 years of experience, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems. Your expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices Architecture, and NoSQL databases will be crucial in delivering high-performance, reliable, and secure backend services for our products and platforms. Your key responsibilities will include designing, developing, testing, and maintaining backend applications and services using Java and Spring Boot. You will build scalable microservices-based architectures with RESTful APIs and integrate with NoSQL databases for efficient data storage. Collaboration with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers will be essential in delivering end-to-end solutions. Participating in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support, will be part of your routine. Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and design patterns is crucial. Ensuring high performance and availability of services in production environments, conducting code reviews, providing feedback, and troubleshooting issues will be key aspects of your role. To be successful in this role, you are required to have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with 4+ years of professional experience in backend development with Java. Strong knowledge of Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem, experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs, and proficiency in working with NoSQL databases are essential. Knowledge of Microservices architecture, message brokers, version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, containerization tools, and orchestration platforms will be advantageous. Preferred skills that would be nice to have include exposure to cloud platforms, experience with unit testing frameworks, and knowledge of security best practices for web and backend services.
