Java Backend Developer

Job Description : We are seeking a skilled GCP BQ Java Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for developing and enhancing high-traffic backend services and data-intensive applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development with experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly with BigQuery (BQ) and Pub/Sub. Role & Responsibilities : - You will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable backend solutions, ensuring low latency, and supporting payment eventing in the cloud. - Enhance the current platform to publish data payloads from on-premises sources into the cloud. This involves migrating data from OLTP-based RDMS databases. - Construct and validate these payloads according to a unified canonical model contract, ensuring consistency and compatibility with consumer requirements. - Collaborate effectively with the Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) team to support various projects and initiatives. - Provide technical expertise and support as needed, including troubleshooting and optimizing backend services. - Assist downstream teams with migration processes and ensure smooth transitions. - Develop large-scale applications using Java and Spring Boot with a focus on low latency and high traffic handling. - Design, develop, and test data-intensive applications and microservices, ensuring robust performance and scalability. - Utilize excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address technical challenges and propose effective solutions. - Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field. - Experience in developing large-scale applications using Java and Spring Boot. - Proven experience in developing high-traffic backend services with a focus on low latency and scalability. - Strong knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, and modern database technologies. - Experience in designing, developing, and testing data-intensive applications and microservices. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently. - Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Pub/Sub and BigQuery (BQ), is highly advantageous. - Expertise in online payments and related domains is beneficial. - Familiarity with NodeJS and React is a plus. - Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. - A proactive and innovative approach to problem-solving and technical challenges. - Ability to adapt to new technologies and methodologies in a fast-paced environment.
