Description
Responsibilities As a software developer, you will work with clients and others in a multidisciplinary team to definerequirements and develop solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, QA, and other developers. Mentor and guide junior developers. You will design, code, and test solutions for IBM Z platform, that useprogramming languages including Java, C/C++, Assembler, PL Required education Bachelor's Degree Preferred education Master's Degree Required technical and professional expertise Strong understanding of Core Java (e.g., Collections Framework, Generics, Exception Handling, I/O) Backend development, unit testing, integration testing Demonstrate expertise in data structures, algorithms, and design patterns Deep understanding of multithreading and concurrency in Java (e.g., Thread management, Synchronization, Concurrency utilities) Extensive experience with networking concepts and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, HTTP, Sockets) Good low-level design, problem-solving & debugging skills and desire to learn new skills & concepts like z/OS Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Preferred technical and professional experience Experience with specific Java frameworks like Spring Experience with testing frameworks, e.g., JUnit, Mockito Familiarity with agile methodologies Experience with performance tuning and optimization
