Java Back End Developer

The Java Backend Developer will design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Java 11+, Spring Boot, and Hibernate. This role involves creating scalable RESTful APIs and implementing microservices architecture to support dynamic business needs. The developer will utilize tools such as JUnit, Mockito, Maven, Gradle, and Docker to ensure code quality and efficient deployment. Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ, and cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, or Azure is essential. Proficiency in API security protocols such as OAuth2 and JWT, along with performance tuning and Linux command line skills, is required. The candidate must demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication, and adaptability within Agile teams. Time management, collaboration, critical thinking, and attention to detail are key non-technical skills necessary for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate expertise in Java 11+, Spring Boot, Hibernate, RESTful API development, and microservices architecture to build scalable backend solutions.

• Develop, test, and maintain backend components using JUnit, Mockito, Maven/Gradle, and Docker to ensure high-quality deliverables.

• Design and optimize database schemas and queries for both SQL and NoSQL databases to enhance application performance and reliability.

• Implement messaging solutions using Kafka or RabbitMQ to support asynchronous communication and data streaming requirements.

• Manage source code and continuous integration pipelines using Git and Jenkins CI/CD for streamlined development workflows.

• Apply API security best practices including OAuth2 and JWT to safeguard backend services and sensitive data.

• Collaborate effectively within Agile teams, communicating progress, resolving challenges, and adapting to evolving project needs.

Qualifications:
