Java Backend Developer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using
Java
and
Spring Boot
.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in
Java
and
Groovy
.
Implement data persistence using
ORM frameworks
such as Hibernate or JPA.
Integrate and maintain
Datadog
monitoring for system performance, error tracking, and logging.
Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps, and QA teams to ensure seamless application delivery.
Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning.
Contribute to architecture discussions and best coding practices.
Implement RESTful APIs and ensure security and scalability of services.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

4+ years
of experience in backend development using
Java
.
Strong hands-on experience with
Spring Boot
and microservices architecture.
Proficiency in
Groovy
scripting for automation or service development.
Experience with
ORM frameworks
(Hibernate, JPA, or similar).
Working knowledge of
Datadog
for application monitoring and observability.
Familiarity with
RESTful APIs
,
Git
, and
CI/CD pipelines
.
Understanding of
SQL/NoSQL databases
(MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
Good understanding of
Agile methodologies
