Job Description

Java Backend Developer

Roles and Responsibilities

Develop, enhance, and maintain backend applications using
Java (8+) and Spring Boot
.
Build
scalable microservices
ensuring high performance, reliability, and security.
Design and integrate
RESTful APIs
for internal and external services.
Work with
SQL/NoSQL databases
such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.
Integrate backend services with
Apache Kafka
for real-time/event-driven communication.
Collaborate with
Frontend, QA, DevOps, and Product Teams
.
Deploy and manage applications using
AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes
.
Perform
unit testing, debugging
, and participate in regular
code reviews
.
Follow
Agile/Scrum methodologies
for efficient project execution.
Keep updated with the latest backend development trends and best practices.

Required Technical Skills

Strong hands-on experience with
Java (8+), Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA
, and microservices architecture.
Solid experience in building
REST APIs
.
Good understanding of
Kafka
, messaging systems, and distributed applications.
Strong knowledge of
SQL/NoSQL
databases.
Familiarity with
cloud platforms
(AWS/Azure/GCP).
Experience with
CI/CD tools
: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, etc.
Hands-on experience with
Docker & Kubernetes
is an added advantage.
Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
