We are seeking an experienced Oracle Retail POS Solutions Developer with expertise in implementing and supporting Oracle Retail Point of Sale (ORPOS) and Micros xStore POS suites. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Java, Oracle Database, and various POS integrations, and will play a key role in implementing, enhancing, and maintaining POS systems. Key Responsibilities:Design, implement, and support Oracle Retail POS solutions including ORPOS (Point of Sale, Back Office, Central Office) and Micros xStore suite products (XStore, XAdmin, Locate, Relate, Serenade, etc.). Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and customize POS systems accordingly. Integrate POS systems with payment gateways, Oracle eCommerce platforms, Oracle Retail Store Inventory Management (ORSIM), Retail Merchandising System (RMS), and Oracle Retail Sales Audit (ReSA). Develop and maintain POS-related applications using Java, Swing, EJB, JSP, Struts, and the Spring framework. Write efficient SQL queries, develop PL/SQL stored procedures, and perform performance tuning on the Oracle Database. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring seamless operation of POS systems. Support POS system upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities. Provide technical documentation and user training as needed. Required Skills Qualifications:3-5 years of experience with Oracle Retail Point of Sale (ORPOS) and Micros xStore POS suites. Solid experience in Java, Swing, EJB, JSP, Struts, Spring framework, SQL, and PL/SQL. Proficiency in working with Oracle Database. Experience integrating POS systems with payment gateways, Oracle eCommerce platforms, ORSIM, RMS, and ReSA. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Good to Have:Experience in retail operations and point-of-sale systems across multiple stores. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
