Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in India for a Jar Technician Trainee. The Jar Technician Trainee will be responsible for assisting in the maintenance, repair, and performance testing of drilling jars and related tools. The role includes understanding the mechanics and operations of jar tools, performing routine inspections, and ensuring equipment is ready for field deployments. The trainee will also assist with inventory management, documentation, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Aptitude and basic understanding of drilling equipment and operations
• Ability to perform routine maintenance and repairs on drilling tools
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
• Knowledge of safety standards and protocols
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team
• Basic computer skills for documentation and inventory management
• Relevant experience or certification in mechanical or technical fields is a plus
• Ability to work on-site, in various field conditions
