Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Governance:

    Set up and manage new projects, track progress, and provide executive reporting on status, risks, and opportunities.
  • Budget Management:

    Create and manage budget tracking tools, monitor expenses, and support milestone-based payments.
  • Resource Management:

    Assist with resource planning, onboarding/offboarding, and maintain resource allocation records.
  • Processes & Tools:

    Develop and improve PMO processes, templates, and tools. Train teams and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field
  • 815 years of PMO/project management experience, including change/transformation projects
  • Experience in global projects with multi-region teams
  • Experience with Japanese companies (preferably in financial services)
  • Strong skills in program planning, financial tracking, and stakeholder communication
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools and Power BI
  • Japanese language skills (JLPT N2 or higher)
  • PMP certification is a plus
