ITI Fitter / Mechanical

Job Purpose:

To perform fitting, assembly, installation, and repair activities for mechanical components, machines, and fabrication jobs in accordance with company standards and safety practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform assembly, fitting, alignment, and adjustment of mechanical parts.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, measurements, and tolerances.
• Carry out drilling, grinding, tapping, cutting, filing, and marking works.
• Assist in installation and maintenance of machines & equipment.
• Work on fabrication components (frames, brackets, fixtures, metal parts).
• Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy.
• Maintain tools and ensure proper housekeeping in work area.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and use PPE.
• Coordinate with welders, machinists, and production team.

Skills Required:

• Knowledge of mechanical tools, machines, measuring instruments.
• Ability to read 2D drawings / blueprints.
• Basic welding and fabrication knowledge preferred.
• Physically fit, disciplined, and safety-conscious.

Qualification & Experience:

• ITI Fitter / ITI Mechanical / Diploma Mechanical
• Experience: 1 to 5 years in production or maintenance fitting work.

Pay: ₹9,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
