Description:

• Hands on experience in Operation and Maintenance of 66/33/11 kV substation and its associated equipment like Power Transformer, Current Transformer (CT), Potential Transformer (PT), Isolator, Circuit Breaker (CB), battery and battery charger and capacitor bank etc.
• To carry out Preventive and Breakdown Maintenance Work of Electrical System and Network.
• Experience of Control Room Operations.
• Knowledge of SCADA Operations.
• Record Keeping of Hourly readings at the control room, Monitoring and reporting of any abnormality.
• Making all necessary arrangement to carry out preventive & breakdown maintenance work.
• Co-ordination with various Vendors of PTC for their timely service.
• Documentation like Hindrance register, Material Issue Register, Preparation of Job Card for each O&M Works etc
• Inventory Management of spares
• Should have worked independently in any organisation having H.T. network and control room.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications:

• ITI Electrician; completion of an accredited electrician apprenticeship program.
• Relevant certification or licensure for high-voltage electrical work (66/33/11 kV).
• Proven experience working with 66/33/11 kV electrical systems .
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical fitness and agility to work in various conditions.
• The Electrician for 66/33/11 kV will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and safety of the electrical systems, requiring a combination of technical expertise and a commitment to safety standards.
