IT Technician

As an IT Technician at our company, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient IT operations across our office. Your expertise in hardware, software, networking, and web development will be instrumental in maintaining a seamless IT environment. Your key responsibilities will include installing and configuring Windows OS and Microsoft Office applications, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, as well as maintaining local area networks (LAN), wireless networks, and related infrastructure. Additionally, you will be tasked with developing and maintaining internal websites and web applications using Java, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Providing technical support to employees both on-site and remotely, managing backups, software updates, and data integrity, as well as handling the configuration of office equipment will also be part of your daily tasks. To excel in this role, you should have proven experience in IT support, networking, and software installation. Proficiency in Java, web design, and development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), along with a strong knowledge of Windows OS installation, configuration, and troubleshooting is essential. Experience with networking protocols and LAN management, strong problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities are also crucial. Your ability to work independently as well as in a team environment will be highly valued. Preferred qualifications for this position include IT certifications such as CompTIA A+ and Network+, as well as familiarity with cybersecurity practices and cloud services.
