About the Role

IT Technical Support professional

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain MES systems within steel production environments.
Administer Oracle databases to ensure optimal performance and availability.
Perform system administration tasks on Linux and Windows platforms.
Oversee release management and deployment processes using CI/CD tools.
Utilize version control systems (SVN, GIT) and integrate DevOps tools (Jenkins, Maven).
Develop and maintain solutions using PL/SQL, Java, Python, and Batch/Shell scripting.
Troubleshoot MES-related technical issues and provide timely resolutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams and provide guidance to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
Proven experience in IT technical support, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments.
Strong expertise in Oracle DB administration and PL/SQL.
Proficiency in Linux and Windows OS administration.
Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Maven, SonarQube, SVN, GIT, and monitoring tools.
Solid programming skills in Java, Python, Shell, and Batch scripting.
Familiarity with Oracle Cloud and Azure Cloud platforms.
Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
Ability to work effectively in a team and manage stakeholder expectations.
Experience in leading technical teams is a plus
