IT System Designer - Gurgaon Plant

Job Title: System Designer

Job Role: Review, validate, and improve Solution Design for new and existing cloud and on?premise applications. Ensure alignment with architecture principles, enterprise reference architectures, security/privacy baselines, integration standards, and non-functional requirements (NFRs) such as reliability, performance, scalability, and cost. Support architecture governance, technical debt reduction, and AI-enablement across the portfolio.

Reporting To: Head of Department - Enterprise Architecture (ITEA)

Level in the organization: DM/MGR

Educational Qualification:

Graduation (With Specialization) - B. Tech./B.E/M.Tech/M.E (Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Electronics)

Any Other (Certification / Diploma etc.): TOGAF/Relevant Certifications

Job Responsibilities:

a) Design Reviews: Conduct formal Solution Architecture/HLD/LLD reviews for cloud hyperscalers and on-prem solutions provide actionable feedback and sign-off.

b) Standards & Governance: Enforce reference architectures, patterns (SOA, microservices, layered etc), integration standards (REST/GraphQL, MQ, event-driven), and Infrastructure Standards

c) NFRs: Ensure designs meet NFRs (scalability, performance, HA/DR, RTO/RPO, observability).

d) Documentation Quality: Drive clarity and completeness of HLD/LLD, business process diagrams, sequence diagrams, interface contracts, data models etc maintain architecture repository.

e) AI Readiness: Advise teams on AI?friendly architectures (data/platform readiness, RAG patterns, model serving constraints, PII handling).

f) Collaboration: Partner with Security, Infra/Cloud, Data, App Dev, and PMO support architecture review boards and waivers.

g) Continuous Improvement: Contribute to reusable patterns, golden records, and template improvements mentor teams in design quality.

Competencies/Skills:

a) 4+ years of Hands on Experience of full-stack system design & engineering.

b) In-Depth knowledge of Cloud native technologies and tools

c) In-Depth knowledge of various architectural patterns like Microservices, Client-Server, SOA etc.

d) Hands On Experience of designing high level & low level solution design documents.

e) Hands on experience of different layers of system viz. Presentation, Business, Data & Reporting

f) Good Understanding of common systems integration methods and technologies including APIs, Web Services, JSON, XSD, XML, message driven and event driven systems.

g) Excellent verbal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
