Job Description

IT Support Executive

This is a hands-on role focused on uptime, quick resolution, and reliable support for clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Internet & Network Support

  • Handle all internet, Wi-Fi, and LAN-related issues across office spaces
  • Monitor network performance and respond to connectivity complaints
  • Coordinate with ISPs for downtime resolution, upgrades, and redundancy
  • Configure and maintain routers, switches, access points, and patch panels
  • Ensure proper Wi-Fi coverage in cabins, meeting rooms, and common areas

IT & Office Technology Support

  • Provide first-level IT support to clients and internal teams
  • Support basic hardware issues (desktops, monitors, printers, LAN points)
  • Assist in new workstation setups, shifting, and expansions
  • Maintain inventory of IT equipment and access credentials
  • Support AV setups for meeting rooms and conference calls when required

Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution

  • Diagnose issues related to slow internet, network drops, or device connectivity
  • Perform root-cause analysis for recurring IT issues
  • Maintain response time discipline during outages or critical issues
  • Escalate issues to vendors or senior teams when needed

Documentation & Process

  • Maintain network diagrams, port mapping, and ISP details
  • Keep records of incidents, resolutions, and preventive actions
  • Ensure proper labeling of network ports, cables, and racks
  • Follow IT processes, checklists, and SOPs

Security & Reliability

  • Follow basic IT security practices (password policies, access control)
  • Ensure backup internet readiness and periodic failover checks
  • Prevent unauthorized access to IT infrastructure

Required Skills & Experience

  • 14 years of experience in IT Support / Network Support roles
  • Working knowledge of:
    • LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches
    • IP addressing, DHCP, basic VLAN concepts
    • Patch panels and structured cabling
  • Experience coordinating with ISPs and vendors
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
  • Ability to work calmly during outages and high-pressure situations

Good to Have

  • Experience in coworking spaces, offices, or commercial buildings
  • Familiarity with multiple ISP setups and backup links
  • Basic understanding of firewalls and network security
  • IT certifications (CCNA or equivalent – preferred, not mandatory)
