IT Support Specialist

Job Description: As an IT Support Staff at Kaufman Rossin, you will play a key role in providing technical assistance to users, addressing issues related to computer hardware, software, and networks. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain the functionality of IT systems and ensure user satisfaction. You will be based in either Bangalore or Gurgaon, India, depending on the specific services offered by each office. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain on-site local networks to ensure optimal performance - Troubleshoot internet service issues and coordinate with local ISP support for quick resolutions - Setup and maintain workstations with necessary peripherals for user laptops - Troubleshoot hardware issues on end user laptops and coordinate with regional Dell Pro Support for warranty repairs or replacements - Maintain and troubleshoot approved software on local endpoints - Track and report assets, including receiving new equipment orders, coordinating asset assignments, and arranging pickup/delivery with end users - Assist new end users with onboarding of IT equipment and access - Recover firm equipment on employee exit, reset, and reassign as necessary - Dispose of equipment when needed, including sanitization of sensitive data from retired systems Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or master's degree in Information Technology or related field - Relevant coursework or training in Information Technology or similar areas is a plus - Desired Certification: CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, etc - Skills in hardware and software management, network administration, cybersecurity awareness, troubleshooting, documentation, customer service orientation, and flexibility - 4-6 years of work experience as an IT support specialist,
