Job Description

Role Overview: At BMC, we are looking for a Lead System Administrator to join our dynamic team. As a part of the system administrators" team, you will be responsible for providing support on various platforms such as Windows, Linux, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, VMware, and Cloud technology. Your role will involve maintaining and supporting OS platforms, as well as private and public cloud deployments. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, configure, and maintain ITSM workflows, modules, and integrations. - Implement automation and AI/ML-driven solutions to enhance service outcomes. - Collaborate with stakeholders to design scalable solutions and deliver enhancements. - Ensure effective support and optimization of ITIL-aligned processes. - Provide advanced technical support for ITSM platforms, including troubleshooting and issue resolution. - Collaborate with operations teams to ensure platform reliability and performance tuning. - Integrate ITSM platforms with enterprise applications, monitoring tools, and cloud services. - Mentor junior team members and contribute to development best practices. - Stay updated on emerging ITSM, AI, and automation trends to propose innovative solutions. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience. - 5+ years of hands-on ITSM development experience, specifically with BMC Helix ITSM - Digital Workplace (DWP) and Business Workflow. - Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, SQL, and REST APIs. - Strong understanding of ITIL practices and enterprise IT operations. - Experience in system integrations across ITSM and enterprise ecosystems. - Hands-on experience with BMC Helix ITSM/BMC Remedy development and administration. - Exposure to AI/ML in ITSM, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes). - ITIL v3 or v4 Certification.
