Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an IT Sales Executive located in Puducherry, India. The IT Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying and pursuing sales prospects, developing and maintaining relationships with clients, creating sales presentations, and negotiating contracts. The role also includes understanding client needs, staying updated with the latest technological trends, and providing feedback to the development team to improve products and services

Key responsibilities

  • Prospect and qualify leads via calls, email, LinkedIn, events, and referrals; maintain a healthy pipeline in the CRM.​
  • Understand client business and translate needs into tailored IT solutions; prepare and deliver product demos and proposals.​
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts; close deals and achieve sales quotas and KPIs.​
  • Collaborate with presales/technical teams for solutioning and with marketing for campaigns and feedback loops.​
  • Manage post‑sale handoff and ensure customer satisfaction, upsell/cross‑sell, and renewals.​
  • Track market trends and competitor offerings; update CRM with activities, forecasts, and accurate data.​

Required skills

  • Solution selling, objection handling, negotiation, and closing skills with consistent target achievement.​
  • Strong presentation and demo skills; clear written and verbal communication.​
  • Working knowledge of IT products/services (e.g., SaaS, cloud, networking, cybersecurity) and ability to map them to business outcomes.​
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and sales productivity suites.​

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field; equivalent experience considered.​
  • 1–4 years of IT sales (inside or field) with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.​
  • Experience delivering remote demos and proposals; familiarity with full-cycle B2B sales.​

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
