It Operations Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Manage, maintain and troubleshoot

  Windows Server environments

  including installation, updates, roles and features, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies.
• Provide support for

  Windows Desktop OS (Windows 10/11)

  including configuration, patching, and issue resolution.
• Work with

  virtualization platforms

  (VMware/Hyper-V) for administration and support.
• Administer

  Office 365

  including user creation, license management, mailbox configuration, and email troubleshooting.
• Perform routine

  server and workstation maintenance

  , including monitoring, backups, and applying security updates.
• Troubleshoot

  LAN/WAN network issues

  and provide support for routers, switches, and firewall devices.
• Perform basic

  Linux administration

  involving updates, user management, system monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Use

  PowerShell

  for basic automation, script execution, and administrative tasks.
• Provide

  end-user IT support

  through remote tools and on-site assistance.
• Maintain accurate

  documentation

  of IT procedures, configurations, incidents, and resolutions.
• Collaborate with the IT team to implement operational improvements, new solutions, and best practices.
• Continuously

  learn and upskill

  in areas such as networking, virtualization, cloud services, and automation.

Must have Skills:

• Minimum 3 years

  of hands-on experience in IT support or system administration.
• Strong knowledge of

  Windows Server (2016/2019/2022)

  and Windows Desktop OS.
• Good understanding of

  Office 365 administration

  and cloud-based tools.
• Solid knowledge of

  networking fundamentals

  (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, routing, switching).
• Intermediate-level experience with

  Linux

  systems (Ubuntu, CentOS, etc.).
• Basic proficiency in

  PowerShell scripting

  .
• Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and network environments.

Good to have:

• Basic understanding of

  cloud platforms

  such as Azure or AWS.
• Experience working with

  backup solutions

  and disaster recovery tools.
