You will be responsible for various tasks including installing, configuring, and maintaining the school's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and internet systems. Additionally, you will provide technical support to address queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. Regular maintenance of IT systems such as updates, patches, and backups will also be part of your duties to ensure system integrity and security. Conducting training sessions for staff and students on technology and software applications will be essential. You will also need to implement and monitor network security protocols to safeguard the school's data and systems from cyber threats. Managing IT equipment inventory, from procurement to setup and disposal of outdated equipment, will be another key responsibility. Collaborating closely with teachers and administrative staff is crucial to integrate technology effectively into the curriculum and administrative processes.
