IT Administrator

Key Responsibilities

Network & Infrastructure Management

• Manage and support

  LAN, WAN, VLAN, VPN, and Wi-Fi networks

• Configure and troubleshoot

  L1, L2, and L3 networking issues

• Hands-on experience with

  network switches (managed/unmanaged), routers, and firewalls

• Monitor and maintain

  network performance, availability, and security

• Identify and resolve

  connectivity, latency, and packet loss issues

VPN & Security

• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot

  site-to-site and remote-access VPNs

• Implement basic

  network security practices

  and firewall rules
• Assist in maintaining

  access control and network segmentation (VLANs)

Wi-Fi & End-User Support

• Troubleshoot

  Wi-Fi connectivity, access point configuration, and coverage issues

• Provide

  desktop, laptop, and peripheral support

  when required
• Handle user issues related to

  network access, email, VPN, and system connectivity

Client & Stakeholder Communication

• Act as the

  first point of contact

  for client IT/network-related issues
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to

  non-technical clients

• Coordinate with vendors and ISPs for issue resolution
• Provide regular updates on issue status and resolution timelines

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain

  network diagrams, configurations, and SOPs

• Document incidents, changes, and resolutions
• Ensure adherence to company IT policies and security standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of

  Networking Basics

• Hands-on experience with:

• VPN, VLAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP

• L1 / L2 / L3 Switches

• Firewalls and Network Security

• Wi-Fi networking and troubleshooting

• Familiarity with

  Windows OS, basic system administration

• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools

Soft Skills

• Excellent

  verbal and written communication skills

• Strong

  client-handling and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work independently and in team environments
• Good time management and multitasking skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree / Bachelors degree in

  IT or related field

• Networking certifications (CCNA / Network+ / Firewall certifications)

• Experience in

  commercial offices, co-working spaces, or multi-location environments

  is a plus
