Job Description

Role & responsibilities

1. IT Operations & Infrastructure Management

  • Manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and networks.
  • Ensure continuous and secure operation of servers, LAN/WAN, firewalls, and cloud environments.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.

2. Cybersecurity & Data Protection

  • Implement and enforce cybersecurity policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
  • Manage data backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.

3. IT Strategy & Planning

  • Develop IT policies, strategic plans, and roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
  • Evaluate new technologies and recommend solutions to improve efficiency.
  • Manage IT budgets, cost optimization, and vendor contracts.

4. Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and evaluate the performance of IT staff.
  • Assign responsibilities, schedule tasks, and ensure timely project delivery.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support technology requirements.

5. Technical Support & Service Delivery

  • Oversee helpdesk operations and ensure prompt resolution of technical issues.
  • Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and IT protocols.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on IT systems.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in IT operations, systems administration, or similar role.
  • Proven experience managing IT projects and leading teams.
  • Strong knowledge of networking, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), security tools, and enterprise systems.
  • Certifications such as ITIL, CCNA, MCSE, CISSP (preferred).
