In this role, you will have the opportunity to make an impact in the Information Technology group, which delivers secure, reliable technology solutions that enable DTCC to be the trusted infrastructure of the global capital markets. As an Information Technology Intern, you will participate in the collection and analysis of project requirements, create technical specifications, build and test application code, assist in procedural and code documentation for assigned projects, make contributions within your business areas, and learn from experts currently working within the field. Your primary responsibilities will include participating in the analysis of project requirements and development of technical specifications, assisting in procedural and code documentation for assigned projects, developing and testing code for existing or proposed business applications, and performing troubleshooting of applications. Additionally, the Primary Responsibilities of this role are not limited to the details mentioned above. Candidates for this role must be working towards a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, MIS, Business & Technology Management, or any other equivalent specialization, and graduating no later than May 2026. They should have an interest in and basic understanding of programming languages and various infrastructure platforms, as well as a minimum GPA of 3.2 or equivalent grade to be considered. To succeed in this role, you must demonstrate superior analytical and communication skills, have a strong interest in the financial services industry, possess good written and oral communication skills, be a motivated self-starter, have the ability to grasp new concepts, work within a team environment, and have strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Proficiency in computer and technical skills, particularly with the Microsoft Office Suite, is required, along with previous internship experience in the financial services industry being a strong plus.
