Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Provisioning and Managing Resources

• Kubernetes, Virtual Machines, Load Balancer, Jenkins and DC DE etc.

• Deploy and manage virtual machines (VMs), containers, and Azure App Services

• Configure and manage Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates

• Automate resource provisioning using PowerShell or Azure CLI

• Networking

• Set up and manage Virtual Networks (VNets), subnets, and Network Security Groups (NSGs)

• Configure VPN gateways, ExpressRoute, and hybrid connectivity

• Implement load balancers, DNS zones, and traffic routing policies

• Storage Management

• Create and manage storage accounts, blob containers, file shares, and queues

• Implement data redundancy, backup, and disaster recovery strategies

• Monitor storage performance and optimize costs

• Identity and Access Management

• Manage Azure Active Directory (AAD) users, groups, and roles

• Implement role-based access control (RBAC) and conditional access policies

• Integrate on-premises AD with Azure AD using Azure AD Connect

• Monitoring and Security

• Configure Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights

• Set up alerts, diagnostics, and performance tuning

• Implement security best practices, including encryption, firewalls, and compliance policies

• Backup and Disaster Recovery

• Configure Azure Backup and Site Recovery

• Test and validate failover scenarios

• Ensure business continuity through DR planning

• Governance and Cost Management

• Apply policies using Azure Policy and Blueprints

• Monitor and optimize resource usage and costs

• Generate usage reports and manage budgets

• Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of

  Microsoft Azure services and architecture

• Experience with

  PowerShell, Azure CLI, and ARM templates

• Familiarity with

  networking concepts

  (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs)

• Understanding of

  security protocols, identity management, and compliance

• Proficiency in

  monitoring tools

  like Azure Monitor and Log Analytics

• Experience with

  backup, DR, and high availability

  configurations

• Microsoft certification (e.g.,

  AZ-104: Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate) is highly preferred
