IT Field Support Engineer

Role Overview: The role involves handling daily Incident, Service, and Problem Management tasks. You will be responsible for hardware troubleshooting of various devices such as Desktops, Laptops, POS systems, Printers, Scanners, CCTV cameras, Weighing Scales, Barcode Printers, footfall count machines, L0 Network routers/Switches, etc. Additionally, you will be required to troubleshoot SQL and other applications at the 1st level and escalate further with coordination with other Resolver Groups. You will be expected to execute onsite project deliverables, provide daily reports, and updates. It is crucial to ensure process adherence as per departmental and company guidelines. Effective End User and Customer Handling are key aspects of the role along with Situation Handling and Customer Orientation. Key Responsibilities: - Providing on-call support to Store/Office/Warehouse and addressing calls within agreed SLAs. - Coordinating with registered vendors for IT device repairs. - Performing hygiene checks to maintain IT equipment uptime. - Working on IT-related projects within specified timelines. - Building and maintaining healthy relationships with customers. - Adhering to company processes and policies. - Effectively utilizing Tool Management. - Extensive travel within and outside the city. - Availability to work on Holidays, Festivals, Late Hours, and Night shifts. Qualifications Required: - Skills in troubleshooting desktops, laptops, PoS issues, LAN & WAN, SQL, Router and AP basic configuration and troubleshooting (L0), mail configuration, and OS installation such as Windows7, Windows10, Linux, etc. - Possession of a 2-Wheeler would be preferred. - Required qualification: BE in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Electronics, or related fields.
