Key Responsibilities: Design and Implementation: Lead the design and implementation of ESB solutions to facilitate integration across multiple systems and applications. Collaborate with architects, developers, and business analysts to define integration requirements and develop technical specifications. Middleware Development: Oversee the development and deployment of middleware solutions, ensuring they meet performance, security, and scalability standards. Implement best practices for middleware development and integration, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and methodologies. Performance Monitoring: Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize ESB performance, addressing any issues related to integration and data flow. Prepare and present reports on integration project status, performance metrics, and improvement initiatives to stakeholders. Team Leadership and Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to middleware and integration, evaluating their potential application within the organization. Collaboration: Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure smooth operations and integration of services across the enterprise architecture. Desired candidate profile: 5+ years of experience in middleware technologies, with a strong focus on Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) solutions (e.g., MuleSoft, Apache Camel, IBM Integration Bus, Oracle SOA). Proven experience in designing and implementing integration solutions for enterprise applications. Strong understanding of integration patterns, data formats (XML, JSON), and protocols (REST, SOAP). Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or similar languages used for middleware development. Experience with cloud-based middleware solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus. Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is advantageous. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and with stakeholders at all levels. Preferred Skills: Experience with API management and service-oriented architecture (SOA). Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools for middleware applications (e.g., Splunk, ELK Stack). Understanding of Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
