Job Description

As an IT Cost Administrator at Dotdash Meredith, you will play a crucial role in supporting efficient and cost-effective IT procurement, assets management, telecom expense management, and fixed asset maintenance for the organization. Your primary responsibilities will include: - IT Procurement Support: - Manage the IT Procurement ticketing queue, ensuring timely and effective support while adhering to SLAs. - Software License Management: - Audit and manage purchased software licenses to ensure compliance and optimize utilization. - Telecom Expense Management (TEM): - Audit telecom programs to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements. - Track and manage all telecom assets and services, including inventory management. - Analyze usage patterns for optimization and cost allocation. - Fixed Asset Management (IT): - Utilize the Oomnitza asset management system to maintain and track IT fixed assets throughout their lifecycle. - Coordinate audits of IT fixed assets, disposal compliance, and accurate recording in the Oomnitza Asset Management system. - Documentation: - Create, manage, and maintain internal procurement and fixed asset documentation for team accessibility. - Purchase Order Processing: - Create and process purchase orders for IT acquisitions with accuracy and adherence to procurement policies. - Financial Reporting and Analysis: - Generate reports on IT spending, reconcile actual spending against forecasts, and provide insights into cost trends. - Project Support: - Assist with ad-hoc and team projects as required. Qualifications Required: - Proven experience in IT procurement, asset management, fixed asset management, or related fields, including Telecom Expense Management experience. - Familiarity with Oracle Cloud and asset management software such as Oomnitza is a plus. - Strong understanding of software licensing models, telecom programs, and fixed asset accounting principles. - Excellent customer service, communication skills, analytical abilities, and problem-solving skills. - Proficiency in Google Workspace, particularly Google Sheets. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
