Job Description

As an IT Coordinator Trainee at Kims Trust Hospital, your role is to assist the IT department in managing, maintaining, and supporting the organization's technology infrastructure. This entry-level position aims to provide you with hands-on training and experience in IT coordination, system support, and user assistance. You will collaborate closely with the IT team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and efficient coordination of IT activities. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting computer systems, networks, and printers. - Support the installation and configuration of hardware and software. - Help monitor and respond to IT support tickets and user issues. - Coordinate with vendors for IT equipment procurement, maintenance, and service. - Assist in maintaining IT inventory and documentation. - Participate in system updates, data backups, and security checks. - Support end-users with basic technical assistance and training when required. - Learn and adhere to IT policies, data protection, and cybersecurity best practices. - Collaborate with other departments to identify and resolve IT-related challenges. - Perform other tasks as assigned by the IT Manager or Senior IT staff. Required Qualifications: - Bachelors degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Basic understanding of computer systems, networks, and operating systems. - Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, Windows OS, and networking concepts. - Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. - Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures. Preferred Skills (Added Advantage): - Basic knowledge of LAN/WAN troubleshooting. - Understanding of IT ticketing systems or helpdesk tools. - Awareness of data security and backup procedures. - Knowledge of hardware maintenance and software installation. Training & Development: - On-the-job training in IT support and coordination. - Exposure to real-time IT operations, project management, and system administration. - Opportunity to transition into a full-time IT Coordinator role based on performance. Please note that this is a full-time role with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent position after the initial 6-month contract period. This position requires in-person work at Kims Trust Hospital.,
