IT Business Consultant SAP IBP

Role & responsibilities Daily tasks: Implement and configure SAP IBP for Response / (a)ATP to support supply planning and response planning processes. Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into system configurations. Design and optimize supply planning algorithms , including heuristic and optimizer-based planning. Configure allocation planning, fair share distribution, and constraint-based planning . Integrate SAP IBP with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and external data sources . Develop and maintain planning models, key figures, and analytics using SAP Fiori and Excel UI . Conduct system testing, user training, and provide post-implementation support. Troubleshoot issues and enhance system performance for demand-supply balancing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including demand planning, inventory, and procurement. SAP IBP for Response / (a)ATP to support our supply chain planning initiatives. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SAP IBP for Response / (a)ATP , including supply planning strategies, heuristics, optimizer configuration, and integration with SAP S/4HANA or ECC. Any specific expectation from the job role: Strong skills in AMS (Application Maintenance & Service) Preferred candidate profile 4 to 7 years of experience in SAP IBP , with a focus on SAP IBP for Response / (a)ATP . Strong understanding of supply planning methodologies , including heuristic, optimizer, and allocation strategies. Experience in integrating SAP IBP with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, or other ERP systems . Hands-on experience with SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI-DS) or SDI for data integration . SAP IBP certification (added advantage) in SAP IBP for Response / (a)ATP . Experience with Demand-Driven Replenishment (DDR) concepts. Knowledge of SAP APO (Advanced Planning and Optimization) and transitioning to IBP.
