IT Business Analyst(Market Risk)

As a Market Risk IT Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in liaising between business users and technologists to ensure clear and effective exchange of information. Your strong understanding of market risk technology domain will contribute to the continuous exploration of business performance and drive business planning. **Key Responsibilities:** - Act as a BA/SME in market risk technology space. - Formulate and define systems scope and objectives for complex projects. - Consult with users and clients to solve complex system issues through in-depth evaluation. - Support system change processes and provide input based on analysis. - Identify risks, impacts, and business implications of technology application. - Demonstrate ability to operate with limited direct supervision. **Skills:** - Analytical understanding of Market risk Var Methodologies and FRTB. - Good understanding of financial products. - Strong knowledge of market risk concepts. - Exposure to Use case methods, Artifact creation. - Excellent articulation and written/verbal communication skills. - Proficiency in flow chart, Visio, MS-Office applications. - Experience in Investment banking/capital markets is required. **Qualifications:** - Strong understanding of market risk technology domain. - 4-7 years of relevant experience. - Experience in data analysis with intermediate/advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills. - Proven interpersonal, diplomatic, and management skills. - Clear and concise written and verbal communication. - Ability to manage multiple activities and build working relationships. - Self-motivated with a proactive approach to mastering new tasks. - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with attention to detail. **Education:** - Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience. - Masters/MBA in finance preferred. - Finance-related certifications such as CFA/FRM preferred.
