IT Assistant

Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented IT Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our IT systems. The role involves managing hardware, assisting with software issues, ensuring network connectivity, and supporting the technology needs of all departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software (desktops, laptops, printers, biometric, CCTV, etc.)
• Troubleshoot system and network issues and provide timely support to staff
• Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation
• Provide support for ERP, email, and internal communication systems
• Manage user accounts, backups, and antivirus updates
• Coordinate with branches for hardware/software procurement and service
• Monitor internet, LAN/Wi-Fi connections and basic server support
• Set up projectors, conferencing tools, and audio/video equipment during meetings

Required Skills:

• Basic understanding of Windows OS, MS Office, and common business software
• Knowledge of basic networking (LAN, IP, Wi-Fi configuration)
• Good problem-solving and communication skills
• Willingness to travel to branches/farms for on-site support when required
• Ability to document issues and maintain logs

Qualifications:

• Diploma / B.Sc. / BCA / BE in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 0–2 years of experience in a similar role (freshers may apply)
• Basic spoken English and Tamil required

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
