IT Asset & License Management Associate

As a Junior IT Asset (License & H/W Asset) Management Associate at Resillion, your role is crucial in managing the complete lifecycle of both software licenses and hardware assets across the organization. Your responsibilities include discovering and documenting all existing software tools and licenses, maintaining a centralized inventory, conducting regular audits for compliance, coordinating with vendors for renewal and purchasing, and proposing cost-effective alternatives for more efficient IT solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Discover and document all existing software tools and licenses. - Maintain a centralized inventory of all software licenses in the IT Asset Management tool. - Conduct regular audits to ensure license compliance and optimize usage. - Coordinate with vendors and procurement teams for renewal and purchasing. - Propose and perform proof of concept (POC) for new software tools. - Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of all hardware assets. - Procure, allocate, deallocate, and retire hardware assets. - Monitor and control IT costs related to licenses, tools, and hardware procurement. - Serve as the first line of support for basic IT issues and escalate unresolved issues. Key Deliverables: - Up-to-date software and hardware asset inventory. - Regular audit reports on IT license compliance and usage. - Cost optimization and savings reports. - Smooth renewal and procurement cycles for tools and hardware. - Timely resolution of basic IT support requests. Qualifications: Education: - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Experience: - 2-4 years of experience in IT asset management, software license management, or IT support roles. - Experience with IT Asset Management (ITAM) tools preferred. - Exposure to software procurement and vendor management processes. Technical Skills: - Basic understanding of software licensing models. - Familiarity with IT hardware and peripheral management. - Proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI, or similar tools for reporting and analysis. - Knowledge of ITSM processes and IT ticketing tools. Soft Skills: - Excellent communication and coordination skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Detail-oriented with good documentation discipline. - Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities. - Proactive and cost-conscious mindset.,
