IT Applications Program Manager

Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and proactive IT Applications Program Manager to lead and manage our internal IT applications projects & team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of application development and architecture, particularly in PHP, Kotlin, Swift, Node.js, and Angular. While coding is not a requirement, the candidate should be capable of reviewing code, guiding developers, and ensuring best practices in software development and deployment. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the internal IT team responsible for application development and maintenance. Oversee the lifecycle of web and mobile applications built using PHP, Kotlin, Swift, Node.js, and Angular. Review and comprehend code to ensure quality, scalability, and maintainability. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the developers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT initiatives with business goals. Ensure timely delivery of projects and adherence to industry standards. Manage vendor relationships and third-party integrations where necessary. Monitor application performance and implement improvements. Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 15+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a managerial or team lead role. Strong understanding of application development in PHP, Kotlin, Swift, Node.js, and Angular. Should have managed Dealer Management System (DMS) and Service CRM in past organizations. Ability to comprehend and review code. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Experience in managing mobile and web application projects. Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines is a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent MS word, Excel and PowerPoint presentation skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors. Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Exposure to SAP systems and enterprise-level integrations. Project Management certifications like PMP, Prince2 are preferred. ITIL certification is preferred.
