IT and Network Security Engineer

As a candidate for the position, your role will involve performing a variety of technical tasks to ensure the smooth operation and security of the network and systems. Your key responsibilities will include: - **Fortinet Firewall Management:** Monitoring the firewall, analyzing security alerts, reviewing logs, updating rules, and blocking Indicators of Compromise (IOCs) to maintain network security. - **Endpoint Security & Antivirus/EDR/SIEM Administration:** Deploying, configuring, and monitoring EDR/Antivirus/SIEM solutions to ensure client systems are updated and secure. - **Network Administration:** Configuring and troubleshooting switches, routers, and UTM devices to resolve network-related issues. - **Linux & Windows System Administration:** Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Linux and Windows servers, managing user accounts, file systems, backups, and performance tuning. - **Virtualization & Hypervisor Management:** Managing virtual machines (VMs) in a hypervisor environment to ensure efficient resource allocation and system stability. - **Cloud Services (AWS):** Assisting in managing cloud operations, including security monitoring, access control, and networking. - **Backup & Recovery:** Performing backup verification, disaster recovery procedures, and system failure troubleshooting as per IT policies. - **Tally ERP Support:** Troubleshooting Tally ERP-related system and network issues. - **IT & Desktop Support:** Resolving end-user system crashes, software issues, and network connectivity problems. - **Printer & Peripheral Support:** Handling basic printer troubleshooting and scanner maintenance. - **Video Conferencing Support:** Managing VC systems to ensure proper functioning for company meetings. - **Security & Compliance:** Assisting in vulnerability assessments, system hardening, and implementing security policies. - **Monitoring & Maintenance:** Monitoring internet leased lines, server performance, and storage utilization. Additionally, the company expects you to have a minimum of 1-3 years of onsite experience in the relevant field with knowledge of the key responsibilities listed above. You are required to possess a valid CompTIA CySA+ certification or an equivalent certification in the security domain.
